Re: =WHO THE HECK ARE YOU?=
My name is Doug, I am 33 years old and live in Minnesota. I have been married for 2 years and we have two australian shepards. I recently quite my job as an airline pilot to pursue a different career. My first r/c car was a super champ when I was 12. I started racing an RC10 around 1989. I got back into collecting vintage R/C about 8 years ago. I basically collect the cars I liked as a kid. I am getting into r/c crawling and I might get back into racing. In the summer we spend most of our time on a lake water skiing and sailing.

Re: =WHO THE HECK ARE YOU?=
Well, today is my one year anniversary here at 10Talk so I guess it is time to introduce myself a little better.
My name is Kevin. I am 34 and married to a wonderful girl from Chicago and have 2 kids.
I have been into RC since I was a little guy (that was a long time ago) and love it.
I am a computer engineer and work for a local community college as an IT technician.
I will have to post an up to date photo later tonight.

He's an idiot. Comes from upbringing. His parents are probably idiots too.
Re: =WHO THE HECK ARE YOU?=
Since I plan to stick around here for a good long while...
Keepin' it simple..
Age: 21
Status: Single
Real Cars: Long list, so I'll shorten it up a bit. Two '69 Road Runners (both 440 cars, one 4-speed and one automatic), five Trans Ams (All are 400-462ci, two 4-speeds and the rest are automatics)
Daily Drivers: '97 Lumina LTZ 3100, '98 Lumina LTZ 3800, '97 Ram 1500 SLT 5.2L 4x4.
Hobbies: You guessed it, RC cars and restoring/modifying/racing 1:1 scale muscle cars. I also do automotive photography, as well as website and graphic design.
Photography: Canon Digital Rebel XT and some lenses.
Got into RC: When I got my first RC10T (that I still own) back in '91.
Occupation: Aircraft Technician
Previous Job: Web designer for a company in NY,NY.
Favorite RC Memory: Restoring my Tamiya Mountaineer, running it for a short while then selling it to fund my real car addiction. I regret it, but if I still had it I wouldn't have one of the Trans Am's that I own this day. I received the Mountaineer in a trade for a Tamiya Clodbuster Clodzilla. To further the shot in the pills to the other guy, I only paid $50 for the Clodbuster, and I recieved the Clodzilla frame in trade for vintage Tamiya Super Champ plus some cash.
There you have it, probably the most important info to know about me

Re: =WHO THE HECK ARE YOU?=
My first post.
Chris Ishmael. I'm a former CH-47 cargo helicopter flight engineer/mechanic, who now does the same job as a civilian in Afghanistan for a butt load more money than I was making in the military.
I've got a RC10 that I bought in 1989 or so sitting in the attic, 4500 miles away, back in Dallas...
Spent about 2 hours surfing the web, looking for everything I need to get back in the hobby. Would it be sacrilegious to mention that I'm buying a brand new RC10B4 & having it shipped over here?
Me when I was still taking Uncle Sam's dime:

Hello!
I think, it´s time to untroduce myself here in this fantastic forum.

Family status: 1 wife 1 son and 1 doughter
Occupation: RC-Car Designer with own company - Revolution-Design (http://www.rd-revolution-design.de)

Hobby: RC-Cars and Family

Re: =WHO THE HECK ARE YOU?=
I'm a Texas Registered Professional Land Surveyor. Wife, 2 kids, dog, etc etc.
Main hobby is a 1986 Ford Ranger pickup with a 545" EFI'd Ford, C6, transbrake, ~700hp. It's still under construction, and have currently become sidetracked with RC cars again. LOL
Me, and yes they did give me crap about wearing an NHRA hat to the roundy round track.
