The original stickers on this body are actually in pretty good shape. I'm assuming that the original painter cut out the stickers and applied them to the body first. Then masked over them and painted the outside of the body. Its an interesting effect, the likes of which I've never seen before. Probably for good reason.

And the paint does not appear to be the correct paint for lexan. I am therefore *hoping* that paint removal won't be terrible and maybe I can remove the stickers intact. However, my impatience usually causes problems while working on delicate projects such as this. I'm in no hurry to get this project going, or completed. So hopefully that will benefit the final product.
Thanks for the tips and ideas. Going to give them a try.
