How to mount this body?

So I have this t3? truck I recently got in a package deal with no body. I have a body laying around that id like to use.

What do I use to mount this?

Can you use the existing front mount?

I would make a bracket off the rear shock tower. Couple of flat prices of fiberglass or kydex and some right angles and generic body mount posts.

I agree, some right angle off the rear shock tower and some universal body mounts.

Check it out ... used some right angles from Lowes for 3$ off the rear and front towers. Looks pretty good now just gotta get some pists and cut them shirter, but that was the easy part. Thanks for the good advice and I put it to use!

did anyone ever make a 90 deg body mount for onroad cars? to come off the chassis and go into the doors? it is so hard to mount any body that looks like a real car I dont want a toj style. the tall mounts always seem to hit the windows. I just got a...

thats what I have come up with, I think this was made for a digger chassis like you pictured. I may just drill my cross brace to move them in to hit the roof. I didnt want to but my have to. Thanks

stupid question. I see some cars with the front body mount fitted to the nose plate while others like the one in the World's car manual is fitted on to the steering mount. Is it just a preference thing or some kind of philosophy behind it?

I've been having a challenge thinking about how to install a rear body mount for my Optima. I want to mount it/them to the rear shock tower, probably the rear side of the tower, inboard of the shock mount holes. Without having to drill, does anybody...

Did some measuring, it looks like these Duratrax DTXC2613 3 body posts will work perfectly...and even better, my LHS happens to have 'em in stock! So no additional 2-week delay! I can get back to work on it this weekend. 8)

I was looking for one for my on-road project and I've seen the RPM body mount bumper on ebay for crazy prices. I found Speedy's Racing. They have a lot of on-road conversion parts and the RPM bumper for a reasonable price.
