while doing some research I just stumbled upon this... can't find any reference to it on the site yet, apologies if it's been posted already.

Very fine example of a race-prepped Worlds re-re with some minor upgrades, the biggest one probably being BB springs - the rest is all very pragmatic. I can see a JC honeycomb motor plate, too - as well a milled rear shock tower (JC?) and other tidbits, not all of them are talked in the article, the only highlight are on the official AE parts.

I've raced against that car a few times before Jesse resigned from Vintage class racing. Those are Derrick Durbin towers.

yeah, those towers from Derrick are great. I got a few sets and used them on my VONATs car.
