RC10 Worlds adding front weight

Post by Digital »

Hi,

Ran my RC10 Worlds car at the first race meeting yesterday. Car has a Lipo, so lighter that it was designed to be. Loosened the slipper as far as I dare, and adjusted gearing as much as possible but the front kept lifting up until I fitted some stick on weights. Easy fix, except the weights are prone to falling off. I'd like a weight, ideally brass that would somehow bolt onto the front. I've done a search, but can't find any that exist, but suprised if no one has made one. So does anyone know of a custom fit RC10 front weight I could buy? I'm in the UK, so ideally something avaliable this side of the pond would be good.

Any chunk of brass you can find you can drill a hole in and mount under the body post.

Is your lipo as far forward as you can get it?

You can also run a standard size servo if you're not already doing so.

appreciate the help guys. yes that pic with the weight under the body post is exactly the sort of thing I'm after. Was hoping someone would have made some and be selling them, but looks like I'll have to make something myself.

I use quality double side tape to mount my weights. I like to have the option of changing the location of the weight and I use the standard AE lead weights
