To do it correctly, yes. Nothing wrong with mixing and matching parts though.

I think I'm going to leave all this in a box and go build an RC10
All of this voodoo witchcraft known as Losi is giving me a headache

Re: A little help with a heap
Ok, I couldn't help myself and decided to tear it down, clean and assess what I'm working with. Rust was not near as bad as it looked. Mostly just surface rust. Noticed something about both chassis that I have. They have a white layer in the middle. Both are the same, so I'm assuming its a losi chassis and not aftermarket. Looks like graphite bonded to both sides of a fiberglass core. Did Losi manufacture these or were they outsourced by another company. Sorta looks like a composite craft piece.

Re: A little help with a heap
Talking with Gil last year they switched things around a bit at the start for chassis production. I have to go back through my audio recording, but they had problems with at least one place in getting the holes in the right spot for while an the JRX2 and early JRXT chassis.

Re: A little help with a heap
This thread has a little bit of information about the graphite chassis variations Losi had. Not exactly a timeline, but some nice info.
