She is a bit perplexed about the influx of boxes especially since they are from the four corners of the US and Canada and UK.
So what did you get in the post today ???

Ha Ha....."Desker"
Got a couple 1/25 static Mopars on the desk. Didn't know what they were called, until now.
Is this thing essentially a build-it-yourself deluxe "Stomper"?
Hope you're doin' something fun.

A bit larger than the Stompers, but pretty much the same idea. I haven't put batteries in yet to see how fast it is, but I bet it's faster than a Stomper also. Stompers might have had more torque. I had a BUNCH of those when I was a kid, around '81, '82. Good times.

Same here! I hadn't thought about those in a long time... good memories.R Cane wrote: ↑Fri Feb 02, 2018 12:53 am A bit larger than the Stompers, but pretty much the same idea. We had this love bird, essentially a parrot about the size of a parakeet, that would grab the rear bumper of one of my Stompers when we put them both on a table and "ski" across the table holding onto it.

Today the postman delivered 10 x 93 tooth buy 0.25 inch mxl belts for the Zerda , lord knows what I'm going to do with the other 9 but the only way I could buy them was in a 10 pack , anybody want one for the price of postage then PM me , they were only $11 delivered for the 10 and I'll never need more than 2 or 3 .
If a jobs not worth doing then its certainly not worth doing well.

Re: So what did you get in the post today ???
Not vintage, but thiis came when i was out of the country.
It was 70 dollars shipped from China. For the price i think it's very cool, it has really good articulation and 4 different steering modes you can select on the fly on the controller. Its built like a tank, lots of metal components as you can see. IIRC Its 1:24 scale. I drove it around a little last night, its really slow, very low geared, climbs pretty good.

Wow, that looks pretty good for 70 bucks. Doesn't look like it would be hard to upgrade it when the time comes either.

Yeah, for sure. The scale is pretty nice too, crawls over my lawn and outdoor stuff easily, but is also small enough for some indoor crawling.
