I made another trade deal with scr8p and got a very nice vintage gear cover. I will be taking my time trimming it!

I got the gear cover trimmed and fitted, came out very nice. While I had the buggy on the bench, I made a pair of nose plate braces.

Those nose braces are the cat's meow. I just can't imagine doing it any other way now.
So I reckon electonics are next? I forgot, is this one going to see the track??

I'm leaving the gear cover clear. I'd like to get a few more of them but the Parma commands a rather high price.

I'm not really sure which way to go on electronics yet. I have that near mint Novak 610-RV...

I got this INTEGY lipo voltage checker/voltage level alarm today from Amain. I want to pair it up with a shorty (2S) battery, Novak 610RV, and a brushed AE off road stock motor.

Anybody that was done some thing similar, I could use some help with the wiring. The checker comes with no documentation.

Generally they just hook up in parallel across the cell leads. Some have connectors to hook up to the balance plug. Not sure how you would set the voltage. Is it for 2s packs?

I went to the INTEGY website and it doesn't give a whole heck of a lot of information. I'm guessing I need to get a JST-XH connector.

Correct. You just need a balance plug (JST-XH connector) on your battery which will simply plug onto the appropriate pins for a 2S.

Really liking your build Nomad...
What I did on the JRX Pro was to cut the plug from a spare harness that came with a lipo battery I bought.
Not the prettiest install, but it allows either Nimh or Lipo to be run.

That helps me a lot. Can you show me how it connect further, at the ESC?

Sure thing Nomad
I attached at the outboard capacitor. I really did not want to solder on the ESC if not necessary.
The cap was the easiest point to pick up battery voltage and can be easily changed back to OEM look.
3rd wire (for lipo) is tied back in case I wanted to change from Nimh.

Awesome point to pick up voltage, at the cap. I should get my connectors from Amain sometime next week. I also ordered the 2mm balance connectors while I was there.
