I would like to enter my build for this contest
4wd SRB, well, I still call it SRB as the 'basic' geometry is SRB.
Custom CNC main woven graphite chassis, graphite rear roll cage, MRP Pro-110 body,
MIP: rear trailing arms with original MIP CVD, rear tranny with Thorp Dirt Burner diff, front gearbox innards with custom front mini-gearbox, hanger wires front shafts, 4x400 front tower, RCH front arms
Yokomo: mid-damper for upper chassis stiffness adjustment, 870C wheels, Duratrax tires
Kawada RX430 chain, HPI RS4 alloy shocks with custom shaft, modified CRP bumper

MRP Pro-110. All stock. The only missing items are the lexan driver figure/dust cover and and the stock silver can motor. I have an MRP motor to swap in one of these days.

Re: ** Build of the Month Contest - January 2018 ** - Winner - tiger1
You've seen this one before - as I was checking everyone's entries, I saw EOL's BlackWig and I thought that I needed to side by him and his tamiya obsession and add ANOTHER BigWig to this month
So here we go, Here's my ORIGINAL Big Wig - no re-re, not a single re-re part, the real thing
It has a very special value to me: This is the very first vintage RC car I worked on, starting in '98, when I painted the body first. It is pseudo box-art but with pearl white and metallic blue, and some yellow stripes to match the rollacage. Not my best paintjob to be honest!
Then the chassis went through a few rebuilds in the decade after that as I was painfully collecting parts, and it is now made solely of NOS parts gathered and swapped in the decade or so after that. It sports a new VZ, and the mech speedo still needs to be installed some day. (maybe...)
I painted Larry Lancaster with much patience, being not a patient kinda guy this was almost therapeutic for me
It has basically sat on the shelf like this for the past decade or so... When Tamiya decided to re-release last year, for the first time I was pissed at them for re-re'ing something as it took me so long to get this one together.
Everyone will say it's a re-re, I don't care a penny, because I know it's the real McCoy and I will never ever sell it anyway

Wow! What a great variety of beautiful cars this month! I have always loved the Big Wig and there are two fantastic examples here.
