If a jobs not worth doing then its certainly not worth doing well.
A problem shared is a problem halved but an advantage shared is no advantage at all.
This is the first of two local pickups I'm doing today. The losi truck has the hydro drive. The blackfoot was the real score. The body is beaten but underneath was a pretty clean undamaged truck with a Trackmaster trans. Have to do some research on the tank. The molds say Tamiya 1981 on the inside. German King Tiger I think. While digging through the usual box of worn out tires/wheels I found a mostly complete rc10 chassis and some nip parts for the tank. Hopefully I will be posting some really cool stuff if all goes well with my second pickup in a couple hours
I received some NIP yellow front and rear RC10T2 wheels and NIP Pro-Line Speed Hawg tires this past week. I didn't glue them on the wheels due to them being rare. Thinking about it though!
Thanks Tamiyadan. Good info on those parts. I will be posting a thread in the tamiya section on this truck eventually. I might pick your brain some more on this subject. This was the second local haul today. I'm a little excited about this one. I will be posting threads soon in the appropriate sections for both of these cars. I'm having one of those outstanding RC treasure find days. To top it off, as soon as I got home, a lhs that I deal with frequently called to tell me they dug up some nip white rear bulkheads for the RC10 that I needed and their giving them to me for $5
We're on the same page Tamiyadan. I have to admit, my first thought was to sell the trackmaster and upgrade the stock setup. I will be bashing this truck.
I knew today was going to be a big day for USPS and it was!
Cool stuff from AE, AMAIN and eBay flooded the mailbox. I have a tub full of parts for the upcoming Conklin Performance Designs (mk-Zero) B1M mid motor conversion kit build. I've machined a few "small things" to go along with it.
