Curious to see your best hand painted bodies if anyone here still does it? And any tips/tricks.

Hand painted like with a brush? There was a guy in the area that did some of my slot car bodies like that and he did a great job. I dont know of too many guys doing that with RC bodies, but I think Klavy has a DS body that was done that way.

There was an old thread somewhere I cannot find now, of yes, hand painted with a brush many of which looked very good. These aren't the ones I was thinking of but I am not crazy.

Looks good. Seem to me if you weren't doing any fades and keep it to hard lines either freehand or masked you could do some nice basic jobs.

You have to mix most colors with backing colors or itll look uneven though. Thats why all of these are pastel looking

That has a cool old school vibe to it. Makes me want to find some sand dunes.
