Buddgy from T2 chasis someone direct me toward a thread ?
I am searching for threads about building a buggy off a T2 chassis and tranny. I resumed an old unfinished project and I have seen others doing it since then but can't find these threads anymore. There are a couple of issues I'd like to see how they were resolved... like shock towers and bodies...
Thanks...
Thanks...

I have some compatible towers for the rear, front is standard buggy although a lot of people like the longer B2 shocks

Well whoever that customer is, that is a realllllllly nice car! And I'm sure his other cars are nice too, but I'm just guessing.

Quick question... did anyone find a body that fit the longer wheel base with the T2 chassis? I'm not sure I want to go the "shortened chassis" way...

Take a closer look at Traxxas Bandit body. It's just a hunch, I had one working on a JRXpro years ago nicely. It's a nice 2WD buggy body and they are not small cars. Again, not sure.

Re: Buddgy from T2 chasis someone direct me toward a thread ?
I was going to see how far I could go before Jeff noticed, but I sent him a message and gave up the secret! I have been a little more active here lately, but my user name probably isn't that familiar.
As far as towers, Jeff is the guy to talk to. For bodies, I was just talking to Jason on this, and it sounds like the viper is one of the best options, since most bodies don't fit well over this chassis. I tried a viper myself, and its not perfect, but better than any others I tried. If you flip the car over, you can try out various bodies for fitment over the chassis without worrying about how the shock towers line up.
