Need a little help with finding servos for my RC12e, I recently picked up 4 Futaba Fp s-28's only to find they were too big and bottomed out on the chassis. Is there a good size to look for? Maybe 27's or 7's?? The car is from 1979 according to the manual if that makes any difference, I am also looking for a receiver if I can find one. This will be a shelf queen however I cut a new radio tray so I can put newer electronics on it if I want to have some fun. I have found though that modern standard size servos are taller than the older stuff and the only ones I have in modern that will fit are some Savox 1251's but that is too overkill!!
Thanks

Re: help with servos for my RC12E
The s28's are a tall servo.Taller than a "Standard modern servo size" such as a futaba s148. I believe the airtronics 94102 servos will be a much better fit. That's what I have for my 12E but mine has been modified so I can't say for certain.
