Hello from Transilvania, Romania!
Hello!
My name is Dragos, i'm 21 and i'm a mechanical engineering student. I went to this department 2 years ago because my passion for RC cars. I've bought my first RC car in 2007, it was a RC18MT bought from a local forum. I live in a small town but i'm lucky to have a nice RC community here and i've been racing on a club level since 2009 and from time to time I went to the Nationals where i got some good results in the Junior class.
Currently i live in Patras, Greece for a few months for a traineeship. In this city they have an amazing onroad track and i brought my TC6.1 stock car and TC6.2 mod for some future races. In my hometown i only race offroad, so it's a challenge for me, but i will have lots of fun anyway. Most of my cars are Team Asso : RC10 WC rere, B5M, b4.1, t4.1, scx-60, scx-60cf, sc10 4x4, tc5, tc6.1, tc6.2, rc18t. Tamiya: Midnight Pumpkin, Montero wheelie, TT-02D and many others to come!

That is a very nice onroad track you have access to, must be fun to run there.

nice to hear tales from all over the world. Good job for looking at engineering, even though you may not end up where you plan, the education stands by itself to present opportunities!
that is a great track, wish I had something close to me in the states. I suppose I can't complain, if I were really dedicated, there are two tracks about an hour away where I could race.

After a swim in the amazing Greek sea we went to the Montelodromio Patras track.
My TC6.2 ready to hit the track.
My girlfriend, Ioana having fun with the TT-02.
It was an awesome practice day, with helpful people here and great atmosphere!
