Hi Guys,
First post on the forum, Used to run an RC12L at club and national level in the late eighties and have recently returned to racing GT12 in the UK so have got the bug to pick up ideally an original RC12L to get running at our carpet track. However i have been offered this RC12LS my questions are is this an LS i'm pretty sure it is just looking for confirmation and also the black rather than white plastic parts are these from the factory or possibly dyed? Many thanks for any assistance with this.

Re: Associated RC12LS Questions.
Welcome to the boards.
What you've got is an RC12LW with a dynamic strut front end upgrade. Practically the same as a 12LS but the 12LS chassis gained two extra holes for the body posts directly in front of the suspension mount holes (instead of between the front suspension like on your car).
Plastic parts might be dyed or might be factory. AE changed from white to black around the time of the 12LC.

Re: Associated RC12LS Questions.
Agreed it's an LW with dynamic front. Check the front of the chassis to see if it looks like anything has been cut off. I've cut them before to "save" a chassis that has had the "nubs" damaged from a crash.
