I just got this javelin in the mail today. It has some Optima re-re parts on it but I am still pretty excited to have it. I had one along time ago and regret selling it.

Nice one!
Last week I received two more Kyosho Impress parts: a steel rear axle and a pressure plate set for the diff.

An ultrasonic cleaner. Works pretty well on dirty parts using only tap water.

Hey what's it called? Ultrasonic? I don't think we have that in Canada but it sounds interesting....EvolutionRevolution wrote: ↑Sun May 21, 2017 9:24 am An ultrasonic cleaner. Works pretty well on dirty parts using only tap water.

It's one of those things that uses high-frequency vibrations to shake dirt loose off items immersed in a fluid (obviously can't be used for certain items such as ESCs).vintagercer wrote: ↑Tue May 23, 2017 5:55 pmHey what's it called? A holy grail of sorts, I have been looking for this on and off for the last 10 years, and it will be sent up to the boys in Canada when they are ready for it so anyone can put a version of it on their NXT rebuilds and restorations. It will be the second body I have sent them after the Junior T body
Thank you Sabulatech

Re: So what did you get in the post today ???
Not quite 'in the mail', but I got this a couple of days ago.... there's a story to it, if you're interested
I got a call from a local guy, saying he had a problem with his computer - I help out with PC issues in this small country town. I went over to his shed and picked up his machine to bring back to the 'lab' to fix, and noticed that he had a few cars and trucks scattered around... we got to talking, and he said he had some spare parts and stuff I might be interested in.
I finished the work on his PC and took it back, and we fired it up - he was happy. He paid for my work, then asked me if I wanted to look at the stuff... he was gong to "throw it on the fire" if I didn't want it! No need to ask me twice.... he and I dragged the whole lot to the boot (trunk) of my car, and he didn't want anything for i! Cash payment AND RC parts.... best job ever!
Took me a while to go through all the parts.... there was a LOT of cheap Chinese truck parts that I am yet to identify... but there was also a LOT of NIP parts. Some of the highlights:
- Heaps and heaps of HoBao and Thunder Tiger (SST and DT-10) parts.
- New in pack Hirobo Zerda bumper and wheels, and a set of 44B wheels. - Small stash of 1:8 wheels and tyres, both new and used.
- Couple of bags of Tamiya parts, including shock bodies, Stadium Blitzer arms and bones, Mini Cooper wheels, TL-01 / FF-02 arms, TB01 / TGX parts, and amazingly, an FF-01 gearbox and lower plate - I've been chasing these for years to complete a project, but been too scared to buy them due to the price!
- Massive amount of onroad wheels and tyres, including 22 boxed pairs of mounted foams, a full set of Yokomo treads, two bags of mounted slicks, and seven bags of onroad wheels. - Small amount of Associated parts, including a complete set of 8-T alloy wheel hexes and a bag of flanged bearings.
- Big lot of more offroad wheels and tyres, including bagged Parma front 1:12 donuts, AYK, Eagle, Tamiya and Tartan new bagged front tyres, some loose tyres, and a couple of bags of J-Concepts TLR22 front wheels. - Something I have been looking to pick up for a while, a tool pouch (this dirty one is by Serpent, of all people!).
- Numerous more bags of NIP parts for XTM, HPI (Tornado, Savage, etc.), Kyosho (Spider mostly), Venom, Wind Hobby, Team Durango (bumpers), GV, Ansmann Racing, Traxxas, Acme, Himoto, Force (motor parts) and Colt (belts, tyres, etc.).
- A bunch of used loose parts that I can put into use, including Tamiya TT-01 parts, servos, receivers, transmitter battery cages and doors, and even a brushless speedy to test.
- Of all things, a Tyco 6711 slot car start / finish / power connect track!
I'm going to be VERY BUSY for a while!!!!! The missus was happy when I brought it home.... until she saw how much there is - we're moving house in just over a month!
