Optima Mid bumper options

There's also this one, I've seen the same brand of bumper for the Optima and Optima Mid. I personally think it's too wide in its original form so I've cut the ends down a tad.

Not heard or seen either of those versions either! Seems there were quite a few!

I have just emailed the guy who ran the model shop i purchased the car (and bumper) from bitd..... maybe he can recall which particular brands they stocked...?

Ok i found a picture of what i am after. Sadly this one sold on the Bay in February. No make given, but this is definitely the one i had.

See what i mean about the curved cut-outs at the ends? 3/4 width.

Japanese YSP made a small bumper for the Mid, as well as a rear bumper.

It looks like it'd be quite easy to fabricate that design yourself with a piece of 4 or 5mm thick Kydex. Cut out the shape flat, then hit it with a heat gun along the edge and bend it up. Here's one I made for my Barney car, the design you're after would be quite a bit easier:

Here's another one i have found whilst hunting online..... not the one but still another to add to the list in case anybody else is interested.

Lazer Alpha, I think.

There's also a general purpose Kyosho bumper that can fit the Optima Mid, Lazer, and GP-10 cars and that mounts to the bottom of the chassis under the front gearbox.
