You should let me anodize those nose and wing tubes for you.

They're supposed to be plain. I even bought "classic" nose tubes so I didn't have to strip the black worlds ones I had.

You can't have this one, but I can help you build one of your own.

Yeah, RIT Golden Yellow powder. I didn't measure or anything, just sprinkled some into a 5 quart pot of hot water.

Looks like I have something else to add to the list. Just opened my rere Worlds box, let me break that in a bit.

Re: Scr8p's Worlds Re-re #3 / Modern Kinwald Replica
Some of the electronics have shown up for this. My idea is to use modern versions of the electronics in the original. So I'll be using a Novak Pulse V2 esc in place of the Novak M1c, a Reedy Mach 2 17.5 motor in place of the Reedy Ultra (17.5 just in case I decide to maybe use this car at the Vonats instead of my Maezumi replica), an Airtronics 94771m digital servo, Reedy shorty lipo, and I went with an OrangeRX Fasst receiver to use with my Futaba radio. I went with this mainly because of the color to play off the Novak NER-3fm in the original. It also has the translucent orange like the Novak ESC case.

Re: Scr8p's Worlds Re-re #3 / Modern Kinwald Replica
The Pulse V2 is kinda fugly..... and large. With the built in caps I was kinda worried that the body would lay on them because it's so tall. It's close, but it does clear. I could have gone with one of their small esc's like the edge or something like that. But to me it needed to be a high end version. And, i was able to get a new one at a good price. Now, I have to remove the heat sink and send it out for blue ano, then have a little bit of milling done to it to mimic the original.

I'm not a big replica fan so I don't get much out of them (insert scr8p throwing tomatoes at me while on stage) but I really dig the updated versions like this. To me its the builders version of the next stage and I think it follows through pretty good.
and this is coming from a vintage traxxas guy
