Well the SkyRC combo's wiring wouldn't work on a 10T. I originally ordered extensions, but those didn't fit. So, I extended the motor wiring and ordered a longer sensor cable. I'll have to add that to the cost of the kit, making it not quite as cheap as I originally hoped.

When I installed the new sensor cable and grabbed the program card and began trying to tune the sensored setup in the truck today and noticed an odd problem. If I quickly applied full throttle on a high grip surface from a dead stop, it would cog badly or some times make a high pitched whine and not move. I'm unsure what that is.

The problem steadily got worse and now it barely wants to move. The ESC seems to be fine, I'm thinking the motor has a problem.

Slap in a different motor. The ESC is already calibrated so it shouldn't take anything more than a motor swap to see if that was the culprit.

That was the SkyRC sensored motor that died on me. It had never even been outside the house yet. I really haven't fiddled with any of it since, actually.

Agreed. I'm going to try a Leopard 2180kv 16.5T motor that I got for just under $25. I had really good luck with their 9T version of the same motor.

I run a 3100kv model of the blue one you have installed.
So far, so good. Ill try to post back any issues.
The motor will stand my 10T on the back bumper easily.
I also noticed that it ran very cool, except for when I was making it push around the 10T even though it was running on the nose plate.

Over the weekend I completely submerged the 10T in water with this motor and ESC.
It still worked but would accelerate on it's own, I put the ESC in a bag of rice.
The next day, pulled it out, reinstalled it and it works as well as always.
Still very happy with the combo.
