Seems that quite a few guys ran similar paint jobs back then, just switched up the colors.

Rod hooked me up with the needed yellow RC10 and large black AE logo sticker. Now I need to make a bumper.

I finally got around to making the bumper for this. Also got the lexan under tray from ROH73 trimmed and mounted.

Thankfully, the car didn't get beat up too bad at the Vonats. A few scuffs on the body and wing, and a few light marks on the suspension arms. The undertray worked beautifully so the tub and hardware is still in A+ shape.
So now I'll get the electronics out of it, give it a little cleaning and retire it to the shelf.

Nice - love it when shelfers have had some track time!

Very nice, the entire thread is fantastic.
I gotta ask, what wing is that on your car and is it something that I can get easily online.

The wing came with the body (Proline Mirage SS). But I'm pretty sure it's the same as the AE 5" high downforce wing, like what comes in the worlds kits. I'll check tonight.

Re: Scr8p's Worlds Re-re #2 / Modern Satoshi Maezumi Replica / 2017 Vonats Build
I hate wasting money that I didn't really have in the first place, and that's exactly what I went and did.
So last week I was watching an auction for a new Ko Propo VFS-1 esc to use in my modern Masami '93 Worlds replica. Why I thought that the original car used a KO esc....... I don't know. I think the heat sinks and wire color were throwing me off and I just assumed it was. Last night I figured out that it was actually a Novak esc. So now, I have this......
I got it for a great price (in my opinion), but I really didn't need it. I was debating on just relisting it, but then I thought about this car. No, it's not the esc I used in it at the Vonats. But it's a modern version of the original equipment (CX-11). So I think it will find a home in this car.
Not sure what to use for a motor though. He probably ran Atlas motors.

Ahh, I do that all the time... waste money on stuff that I thought would work and it doesn't or it's a part that I already have!
I dig that ESC, very nice
