I was thinking a Dremel cut off wheel would probably work well. What thickness do you recommend for shock towers and chassis construction?

The thickness depends also of what kind of design the towers have.
But if im making an copy of an rc10 front towers so atleast 2.5mm but 3mm is great. 2mm is too thin.
But if the design is like an schumacher cougar 2000 front towers so then 2-2.5mm is ok.

Very nice work. :)

I wanted to try something similar using a Hot Trick Ultima front kick-up on an RC10 pan but I could never get confirmation that the HT Ultima kick-up mounting holes were the same as the RC10's.

On the hot trick they are. You can even bolt the Frog front end on the same chassis. It was a good idea

I have an Ascot ultima conversion coming and it appears they use a hot trick ultima noseplate 8)
