Thoroughbred racer - well done! This will be a toxic one at the Nordic Vintage Challenge.

Hi. I have been looking through some of your threads and work you have done on some of the old classic cars. Very inspiring

Booooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!SHY wrote:Sorry guys but this place was way more quiet than I had expected. Hence I see no big point in continuing here in english.
So those who are interested can follow the tread here in stead. It's in norwegian and swedish (but you can run it through Google translate):

10-4!
It is what it is around here. I'll tell you one thing though, if everybody here saw "no big point continuing here....." simply because they receive fewer responses than they feel their work deserves....well let's just say I would have left a long time ago!

Additionally, I have noticed that threads that start here or are at least developed in parallel with one on another forum develop more interest, instead of simply starting a thread here just to link to another site. It's just something I've noticed.
Keep posting though your stuff is immaculate and as you've pointed out, it is kind of "quiet" around here.
Mark
Hope you're doin' something fun.

Re: SHY's Kyosho Ultima '87 Evolution
OKOKOK! It has picked up now, and I'm still here!
It's nice to get feedback, but what really rings my bell is when anyone gets inspired to do the same or something similar. There's a lot of untapped racing potential in these oldies! I've been doing racing at a high level for 20 years (and still) which of course helps me to focus on what makes it faster and not just blings it

Love your Ultima. Tomas' car is sweet too. Not as much love here for the K cars, but we are around.

Re: SHY's Kyosho Ultima '87 Evolution
Maybe it's about time I update my gallery. Or even get back onto one of my unfinished cars and post some build pics...
My crawler/scaler builds have reached a point they no longer need big work and all of my time
I love that martini livery by the way. The combination with the yellow wheels though... Sorry.

Hi Mr Ed! Long time no see!
Yeah, get back in the saddle!
Can you get Tanatwo onboard too?
Yes white wheels in the future!

Re: SHY's Kyosho Ultima '87 Evolution
Tanaka-san was a member here, but his english was so poor , I think he managed only a single post.
He felt too ashamed. Typical japanese mind-set.
As my japanese is worthless we immediately lost contact after my return to Belgium.
This weekend I posted a major update of my gallery and a topic for my latest build: A little monster/trailer truck built around an ultima gearbox.
