Your RC "desert island" buggy?
Your RC "desert island" buggy?
I know this question is like asking which child is your favorite, and there is no right or wrong answer. I’m new to the vintage world, and I’m curious what the opinion is of those with years/decades of experience:
What is your favorite vintage buggy? Why? Is/was it the build? The “drive?” Or just an emotional/nostalgic connection to a particular model? (I tend to fall more with the nostalgic connection…)
I’m fond of the original JRx2 through the XX eras, since those were the cars around when I first got into RC. Though I’m having difficulty deciding which model within those eras was/is my favorite. Sadly, I never owned any of them, but I sure remember wanting them! (I did have an LXT though.) Fast forward 25 years and I will finally own one of them (or some of them). Just need to decide where to start – which is hard. All the buggies are unique in some way, and I like them all.
For your RC desert island, which buggy do you take?

It would have to be between the XX and the JRX-2......., and maybe both because I can't decide which!
~I'm a lot older now than I was then and wish that I knew then what I know now~

Somehow I'm not sure why but this thread should quickly become an RC10 plebiscite
(and for me - my old Monster Beetle from when I was a young teen... with its 480gold, its MC116 and its sanwa SR2P, and its bushings )

It's time to stand up to the bully. Support the companies that support the industry, not the ones that tear it down. Say no to Traxxas
