Re: Pics of my RC10s
Man, I was just thinking of doing up a T2 buggy earlier this week with my T2 chassis I have lying around. I hadn't seen or heard of anyone doing one and now here's yours! I like it alot. Nice mods for the rear body mounts, although with a different set-up the T2 rear shock tower looks like you would really be able to "slam" a protech body around it, a la siebenelch. That's what made me think about a T2 buggy concept anyway. Lookin' good!!

Re: Pics of my RC10s
Nice work. Makes me wish I didn't get rid of my NIP T2 chassis.
I am not here cause I am playing photographer and on my mountain bike.

Real nice collection. "Me likey", to quote Tommy Boy. Do buggy bodies fit on the T2 chassis?

Re: Pics of my RC10s
Yup! All are runners. However, the first three are for running around the street (with some junk tires ofcourse). I run the tq10 and T2 buggy at the local track with all the modern tires and electronics against the current production buggies. Chassis protective tape is my friendAsso_man! wrote:Cool collection, are these all runners?

Rich- Any rc10 body will work, but the back end needs to be chopped off. I found that the viper fit the best though. The tapering sides of the body best fit the taper of the chassis without pushing the body outward. The T2 buggy has the wheelbase of the RC10T and T2. The only way to get the wheelbase of a normal rc10 buggy is to cut the chassis so the nose plate can move back a bit. I wasn't really down with cutting it, so I left it with the truck wheelbase and postioned the body slightly forward.

Re: Pics of my RC10s
Thanks scr8p, I finally stepped out of the stone age and picked up a cheap digital camera for myself
I'm also currently working on another runner, an ae graphite chassis with the front trimmed to fit a worlds front end...... inspired by the tricked out one you already did
More pics soon..........

Re: Pics of my RC10s
After seeing the team moo "throw-back" paint on sebastian and michael's siebenelch project cars, I thought I'd put my T3 truck up here just for kicks. Keep in mind now that it's been genetically altered so that the spots show up as ae logos
