New guy sayin' Hi
I just found this site a few weeks ago. Finally joined and wanted to say hello to you fellow RC10 junkies. I'm 27 , in Southern California, and I've been into R/C for about 16 or 17 years. My first car was a used Tamiya Monster Beetle. I still have it , all ready to restore. I've been a member of Tamiya club since '05 and I'm glad to have found this dedicated RC10 site. My first NEW R/C was a #7011 RC10T sport truck I bought when I was about 14 or 15 with my own money. I used to umpire little league baseball games on the weekends at that age, and a full seasons pay yeilded me the 10T. It was so worth it!! I probably made my share of bad calls during those games, as I was constantly day dreaming of that 10T I had comin'! I have about 5 or 6 aluminum tub 10's and 10T's in various conditions, a complete runner stealth graphite buggy and a recently added 10T2 in O.K. condition, but the price was plenty low, so I had to grab it up! Anyway, not wanting to ramble on my first post, I just wanted to introduce myself.

I appreciate the welcome fellas. I'll get some photos up of my cars as soon as I can. They're nothing to spectacular at the moment, but that'll change soon enough.

How long must this newbie use an RC10 factoid in my location to prove I'm not a "spambot"?

What does a "spambot" look like is it a robot made of spam or is it a bot covered in spam

I've never heard the term until I read the newbie rules....."can be a vintage part, manufacturer, general trivia, anything that let's us know that you're not a spambot"
I figured it was common vocabulary around here.
