Who cares? Too much political correctness these days! Good people are good people no matter what colour they are! People should be classed by their integrity and honor! NOT COLOUR.... OR COLOR! No matter how they speak... or spell!

That is my stance as well.

For the same reason one uses smilies on a forum, others can only read your words, they are not privy to the inflection or tone of your voice, body language, or general way of being. Smilies help to convey that in writing.

Is it racist to call them smilies, what they were originally called, or the more PC norm of emojis?

If I were in that same situation the announcer would have said "He's all over him like salt on a cracker!" except for one thing... If I were in that race I would have been 2-3 laps ahead of the entire field and the announcer would say "Man, that guy's a fuggin' bad-ass and no one will ever catch him!" Then I would breakout into a Hammer dance on the driver's stand and every chick in the place would drop their panties.

At least that's how I envision things. Then again, I see most situations ending with me doing a panty-dropping Hammer dance...
