Mini-ME 1/18th Buggy Conversion

Post by railey72 »

Finally painted up my Losi mini-t buggy conversion. It is 1/18th scale or maybe a little bigger. Fun little buggy. Flies with the castle brushless.

Pretty cool. Is that a Team Bluegroove or the one that Chris Doughty created in the UK? I've been wanting to build one of those for a long time, but Chris' kit was too expensive to get over here in the 'States, and the guy from Bluegroove never responded to any of my e-mails. The front wheels/tires were always an issue, too, unless you made some by cut & shut. I think Integy made some fronts for a little while, too, but they proved really tough to find.

I'd still like a kit 2wd buggy in 1/18th that doesn't look like a mutant truck.

Yes, this is the blue groove conversion. He does a nice job on the chassis and body.
