I remember wanting one of the Buds mini cars back when, I never got one though.

Mini Z's on the other hand exploded with a few of us, many nights racing till 2am. I actually think Mini Z's were the thing that most improved my driving with reflexes etc, racing side by side with mod cars on an RCP track....... Intense!!!

I'll have to dig em out.

Here's my Mini-Z racer from back when... It was a quick well handling little car powered by a PN Racing S02 motor. Lots of good memories with this little guy.

Looking at Mini Z history we were still pretty much at beginnings of Mini Z racing. The best thing we did was ditch the stock 27mhz radio and run a 27mhz module in a better radio.

I can see how the new chassis, 2.4 and brushless could make them appealing, but doubt they'll ever come back as the mini car ship has sailed.

I would still prefer to race Mini Z over slot cars, however, looking at parts etc the support for Mini Z's have fallen right off.

Same here.

We ran micro rs4's for about a year before it died off due to racers being racers and spending too much on these cars. Plus nobody could beat me. Miss those days.

Wait. Are you talking about a micro rs4 or a mini rs4? I think I might have them confused.
