What your workstation looks like?

When it's R/C related, but doesn't fit anyplace else.

Thanks guys! I certainly worked for it! Hoisting those boards overhead while trying to reach for a nail gun was no fun! :x

I've been making major changes to the garage set up and it's currently still a wreck, so I thought I would post my mobile work station! I use this when I want to work on a project in the house. It's a storage box from Ikea. The lid is recessed so nothing will fall off of it, and it's large enough to fit a car and parts. Pull the lid off and the inside is divided up into sections perfect for organizing most tools you would need to do general r/c work.

I'll post some garage pics when that all finally comes together!

j-sou, I like that idea for keeping tools organized. Currently, I have all my RC tools stashed in a big, shallow box that I bring up or downstairs as needed when I'm working on a car. I have organizers like that for all my small parts, but it's funny how you just don't think of things like that for tools. Thanks for the idea!

Correct! It's the switch box for a radio I custom built. 6ch 2.4ghz pistol grip with a switch box.

First dedicated spot in years! Last one was my brother's desk after he moved out of the parents house. That was in 1992! It's not much space on top but it has a B-load of storage. I got this thing for my birthday. It sat outside on the patio in the box under a tarp for 6 months. I was gonna end-O-end the thing into the garage when my wife was like, dude let's flip it into the house and we can put it in the random room. F 'n Eh!

Thought I would dig up this old thread and see what everyone is working on currently. I have three projects I'm currently in the middle of.

I bought a few projects from a friend, he was selling off all the RC stuff he had.

I picked up a TC3 in awesome shape, gave it new blue rubber as it is the factory team blue anodized everything. New BMW body for it as well.

A Losi Rock Rey that just needs a receiver and a very clean Losi XXT roller. New body from TBG for it and some kind of brushed system I think.

On my bench at the moment, I'm building up this Mk1 Escort body..... was given to me by a mate, who vacformed the body - it's one of his early reproductions, so it's not quite perfect, but will be great for a runner!

Of course, some idiot forgot to mask the bonnet and paint it black before laying down the white.... so that had to be vinyl'd. Now for the decals and lights....
