I think the car does warrant its own thread. Keep us posted on how the restore goes!

Got myself a NIB Tamiya M05 Mini.....
M05.JPG
Came complete with Monte '94 Mini body, as well as a heap of extra unused wheels and tyres..... very pleased!

Plans for this are not to stay stock, but rather to build it up as an M05M, to suit the HPI Toyota Scion XB unpainted body I have... guess I'll have to sell the Monte body after that!

Not so much in the post, but I picked this lot up while in my old home town on business....

Tamiya race-spec M03 Mini chassis. Fully upgraded with all the good bits, including:
- alloy shocks, heatsink and front uprights
- universals
- full stock of electrics including three LiPo packs, mini-spec brushless system, Spektrum receiver, Futaba S9550 servo
- Heaps of spares, including more oil shocks, chassis parts, and a lot of NIP parts
- An unused set of race slick wheels and tyres, as well as spares
- Funky (but to be honest, fugly) Mitsubishi Lancer shell
MiniLot.JPG
Chassis.JPG
Sure, it's been used / raced, but all the ingredients are there to make into a great racing Mini. And the best bit? Price.... AUS$80, about US$56!!! Just the batteries and brushless rig are worth more than that... and the servo on it's own sells for about that or more!

Pleased.... another Mini to add to the collection. Soon I'm going to have as many of them as I do Schumacher Nitro 10s!!!

Yes. Listed for an RC10T but thinkin the way they are setup with the offset they would make a good rc10 monster truck conversion. If not I can always put together another RC10T I guess. Picked up the rears with another smooth purple set from Alex off of ebay awhile ago. Now I wish I would've never gotten rid of the 4 purple trinity accys I had for the rc10 awhile back

Alex,
I can send them back if you want now that you have a set to work with. I really don't need to start another fricken project based off a set of wheels  .

It's been a while since I've got anything, this came in today, just needs a new chassis, bumper and should clean up nicely.
