A few more mods. Changed to full wide Kyosho SR tracks, larger diameter sprockets to clear the relocated upper struts. Made a pair of new front rims to fit the Duratrax mini quake tires. Unfortunately not looking like any more snow in the foreseeable future. Will make a pair of rear rims to run the Duratrax tires front & back.

When do you plan to offer the conversion parts for sale? The inboard shocks are really cool.

looks awesome. I would suggest something to tie in the front part of the nose to the chassis side rails, as this is always an area of weakness, and you have quite a bit of mass on the front with that aluminum servo mount. maybe fashion something that can also tie in the shock belcrank pivot to give it support top and bottom.

The Reedy 3,000 rpm motor started overheating and shutting down. Any recommendations for a better motor?

That was pretty quick! I would try a motor with a built in fan like a HPI Firebolt motor.

BTW, I was digging that Audi in the drive way.

I build one off r.c. cars as a hobby, and a way to come up with machining projects (another hobby). After I've tested them, they end up on a shelf. I will be listing a few for sale to fund other projects.
