Please help RCExcitement locate their stolen merchandise

Post by soniccj5 »

My local R/C shop was robbed.

https://www.facebook.com/rcexcitement/

Please keep an eye out for any of the stolen merchandise.

From their facebook post.

Below is my wish list for this Christmas, and it's not what I'd like, it's what I'd like back. Four individuals decided to start their shopping early, or late if you consider the fact that they came in after hours. We were robbed last night, and they got us good! I will post the video just as soon as we can edit it to a nice little feature film complete with entrance, action scene, and a clean getaway. I will also post more details and pictures of the vehicle and descriptions as we sort through things. They have definitely been in before as they knew exactly what they wanted and where to find it. They nearly cleaned us out of Traxxas, took 2 Team Associated cars, and took all of our Blade Helicopters Chroma Drones and a Yuneec APV Typhoon Q500. In total there was at LEAST 19 vehicles, 3 Drones, and 2 transmitters. That's just what we could figure by looking around.

Please keep an eye on Craigslist for any of the below items, and please send us and the Fitchburg Police Department any information you may know or find out. I'm certain there are 4 individuals feeling pretty good today about how well they had done by cutting the locks, breaking the front door, and running out with what should have been Christmas presents for some deserving kids. They may be feeling so good they may even brag about it. Please let us know.

Video and pictures to follow.

That is not cool at all, there was a blatant theft at one of the great local hobby shops in Calgary recently as well.

Do what you can to post images, videos, descriptions on all social media.

These thief's need to be taken down.

I hate this crap. had 2 major grab and stsh when i worked for hobby people. One they had a car waiting waith paper over th eoplate. 3 rtr HPI nitros.

another time. 6 kids walked in. all grabbed rtr nitro HPI's had 2 cars waiting outside, i ran out got one plate. employee followed other car got second plate, all but one were monors when the police went to their houses. got most the stuff.

I wasnt the onwer, only manager. i can only imagine from a owners point how much this sucks. Kits and rtr;s have like what a 5-10% mark up over cost. not cheap. (parts its like 100% mark up or something) so they loose a lot on the kits. xxxxx these cowards.

Parts are usually a 40-50% percent markup meaning the sell for close to double store cost. Kits, rtrs, and a lot of the electronics have considerably less mark up somewhere between 10 and 20% most of the time. I have had someone sticky finger a castle mamba max pro out of my shop and it doesn't make you happy to lose $100 when you are struggling to make what little you can after the e-tailers screw up your margins on everything.
