I have just started the NIX91 build with the intent of having a era correct chassis but to run it with modernish electronics.
I dont have enough posts on here to be able to post pics so if anyone can help unlock that i d happy to share..
I have some nice pics of the intermediate build that i would like to post.. if an admin reads this

- Chassis
Getting the chassis was an event in itself. The quality is top notch and opening the box and getting the parts out, you can easily project yourself to how it would look.
You then realize that you have a unique car that you never thought you could ever ever have in your hands.
I bought a used Stealth on eBay and simply swapped a new diff in. Like new.
Forget about using a Worlds transmission, too much work and swapping needed for now

I CAed the edges around the rear transmission holes.
What is truly amazing here is that this is not a kit.. it s still a hand built prototype ! Yes you need to sand some stuff, align stuff with screws.
Car design has come a long way but this is the most gratifying kit i ve built in years, and yet there is so little to do.. just nice to have adjustments and fitting..
- 3D printed
My SHapeways experience has been excellent. Some change in specs of the parts and i ended up making two orders. They refunded me shipping on one of them..
Very good, very fast. Shipped by UPS and seems like they were printed in Europe for me... took 2 days.
So if you re in europe, good news.. those parts can come in fast.
Mine were not sanded but i did not bother.
It is quite amazing to drill out then holes, get all the different pins ordered and finally have the front end come together..
The precision and design is absolutely top.. they match injected parts in strength and adjustability.
I dyed them in coffee to make them off white. They will yellow over time by racing anyways.

Overall, it s still work in progress. I still need the retro lunsford to order on monday over the phone.
I live in France but sourcing the parts was fun:
- NIX91 chassis came from US
- Shapeways printed in NL
- Shocks are on their way from.. NEW ZEALAND
- Most pins and parts came from Amain
- Donor Worlds car for hardware came ordered from HK
I look forward to finishing it before new year, body included hopefully !
What an awesome car. ! That s why i bought two
