Scorpion Wheel Question

With the re-re scorpion making the older smaller wheels freely available, I was thinking about using some on an ultima for an old school look. I ordered up the wheels, and the dirive hubs, but it looks like I may have to get longer axles too. But what size are the scorpion wheels? I think the fronts are 1.9, but are the rears 1.5, 1.6, 1.7..? Has anyone tried the J-concepts tires for the re-re rc10 on the scorpion wheels?

1,5" on the Scorpion and 2" on the Ultima if my memory serves me right
You could look for Optima wheels, those are 1.6” and have a 12mm hex.

Scorpion rear wheels are 1.5" diameter, same as Tamiyas Sand Scorcher/Frog/Grasshopper rear wheels so any alternatives for them will fit the Scorpion wheels.

Rather than buying new axles, use barrel nuts to attach the wheels. They are a standard way of attaching wheels when using axle extenders. http://store.rc4wd.com/search.asp?keyword=barrel&www=
