Bodies????
I know that AE still sells their rc10 bodies and JC has their new style bodies. Are there any repoduction bodies out there? New styles etc?

Re: Bodies????
No new that I know of other than JC Detonator, Detonator Worlds and the Pro-Line Mirage SS. There are some repros on Ebay, but I'm not going to recommend them personally.twisted wrote:I know that AE still sells their rc10 bodies and JC has their new style bodies. I bought one Bolink Funco and one Jammin' Jumper from Old RC, they're pretty nice if you're looking for something different.

I havn't painted the Jammin' but the Funco is done, was a pretty fun project that turned my T2 into a stadium buggy

That "Scorpion" body is freaking awesome!!
BTW, your Funco body looks great, been wanting to do one of those for a while. Jeez man, I buy and paint bodies much faster than I can destroy them

Re: Bodies????

Re: Bodies????
Sure, this one you can the rear detail and how I painted that part. Since the last photo it's been run a few times at our track so it's a bit dirty now. Painting wasn't all that tricky even though I've never painted this one before. I struggled a bit on the rear shock tower cuts since I could only find one photo on how it supposed to be cut and that was on an Optima so it didn't really apply
Do keep in mind this is a T2 so yeah, it's a big, tall body.
If you're wondering, I made the vinyl pinstriping/number plates/window nets to put on it since the last photo. The shock towers I redesigned and routed 1/8" G10 for this specific project otherwise i wouldn't be able to fit the body through the stock front tower without cutting it down a lot. The rear I redid simply because I had to change it a little for bolt-on wing mounts.

Re: Bodies????
Mine was trimmed for the t2 wheelbase so it won't quite fit a buggy 10 without trimming more up front by the steering, sorry.

Re: Bodies????
Teman, pop that funco on your team car so Twisted can see what it looks like. Just be warned that funco body is huge on a buggy, its cool looking because it so different, but it is big!
As for cab forward bodies, you can search for a parma eagle body

John, everything is packed up / in storage since I'm moving as you know. Only the 44 and the T2 are out to run
