My buddy Trung is coming this year. He is gonracing-rc on ebay... If you need a body done for the event he can bring it up for you. Check out his work:

It will be good to see you to Brandon. I will run my newly renovated/built Lazer ZX-RR and the for the Classic I will run my thirty-two year old Tomahawk that I had last time. This will also be the first time I will run on a indoor clay-track, so it's a bit exciting.Brandon G wrote:Wow Lars, making the trip again! Awesome, itll be good to see you again! Do to unfortunate circumstances, I need to make a trip up to MA. So I will most likely try and make it the weekend of the nats so I can drop in and hang out on the way back.

I'm in for this year again also! I had a ton of fun last year even though my Super Hotshot gave me problems almost every time it was on the track. Rookie growing pains, I guess. Going to try to iron them out and actually finish a race.
I assume the track layout will be different but I'm wondering if the jumps will be as big as last year. They really wreaked havoc on my car knocking everything loose and breaking a motor wire 15 seconds before finishing the main.

My weekend ended before it started due to a stripped drive gear during practice on Friday but it was a fun weekend and great event nevertheless. I look forward to next year.

Re: 2015 TEAM ASSOCIATED VINTAGE OFFROAD NATIONALS • SEPT 18
It was good seeing everyone again, felt good to race again too. Haven't done it since the first Vonats in '08.... which showed in my driving. But I digress.....
Had a good amount of entries, 75 I believe. 9 heats, 4 rounds each plus the mains and everything went smoothly. Looking forward to next year. Hopefully it won't be a sort of last minute deal like this race. It kinda sucked, but I made it there.
I took almost no pictures so I don't have really anything to share with you guys, but keep an eye on Erich's Vintage Off-Road Nationals FB page, as well as Old School R/C and JConcepts FB pages. Dirk was taking a lot of pics and has posted many of them on OSRC, and Jason Ruona was taking pics and video as well. I saw some on the JC page last night.
I totally forgot about the Concourse Event, it would've been cool to enter one of my nicer cars. But I had my basically as raced '08 Vonats car with me to use as a parts car
, so I threw some wheels on it and put it out on the track with the B1.5 I raced.
In closing, it was a great weekend. I had a good time, and I'm willing to bet everyone else did as well.
