Period Correct Brushed Motor for Factory Team RC10B3?

Post by erichevy »

As the title states, does anyone know a good choice of motor for an Associated B3 Factory Team car? It's a shelfer so I would like to search for an NOS motor, just wasn't sure what to search for. Looking for info on brands/models that were available around the same time. Thanks in advance.

I was looking for the same thing for my B2...found the B2 parts catalog, and it has a big list of Reedy motors available at the time. I looked at the B3 parts catalog, and bummer...no motor list. Sorry...I know that didn't help you any...

Here's the 1999 Reedy catalog, if that helps...I don't recall exactly when the B3 came out, but it was around then...

I used corally but Reedy were used by most, not the Mr series as it got replaced / phased out around the time this car came out. Think one may still be on ebay now.

My B3 has a Reedy Fury 12x2...I think. It's period correct aside from the fact that it appears they meant that motor for touring cars.
