Greetings from Maryland

Post by sluggyjunx »

Good morning,

Just dropping by to say hello. I'm coming back to the hobby after a long hiatus. Recently decided to disassemble and rebuild/repair my Kyosho Ultima I had as a kid. Had a particularly bad front-end crash a few years back and shelved it. I have completed the disassembly and have straightened out the chassis. I'm now sourcing plans for a radio plate (I have access to a CNC setup to create a new one) and will have to repair one of the control arms on the front suspension that was badly bent. Other than that, it will be small improvements. I disassembled the drive train, cleaned and lubed it. Going to keep going and hopefully get her back up and running. Lots of nostalgia in this car!

Oh, goodness, the things we did when we were young...

Thanks much.
