Cool truck! I never knew futaba made (or commissioned to be made) rc cars, I've only known them for their electronics. I learn something new on this site almost every day.
Glad you found the wheels, they look great! Can the body be stripped with brake fluid?

The body has a few cracks so really not worth the risk to me. I'll find one. One day!
Futaba had nitro "off road" buggies in the 70's, not sure the name (Safari?) but I had one. Sheetmetal spot welded frame, tires marked Futaba, blender style transmission and a .19 airplane engine. Looked very much like this one:

Good deal glad you found your tires. Now if we can just find a secret stash of clear bodies. I could use one my self. What kind of electronics are going to stuff in it.

Re: Futaba FXT: Cracking open some bags finally
Hey guys. Sorry to bring a thread back from the dead, I read in another fxt thread that the dyna blaster body was a fit for this thing and possibly the stadium blitzer. Does anyone know if the wheelbase on the fxt is the same as the blitzer or did futaba lengthen it a little
Cheers
