Raborn Invencer XT
Thanks to fredswain, I picked up this NIB Raborn Invencer XT kit a few months ago. Fred also had Barry Raborn autograph the chassis for me.
This truck had been my unicorn for many years, and I honestly thought I would never find a new kit. It was missing the Pro-Line rear mounted foams but I have some HPI Super Stars for it. It's definitely a unique and simple kit to assemble.
I used some Trinity purple aluminum and KNK stainless screws since a most of the original hardware was a little rusty. I used some Tecnacraft tie-rods with RPM ends. I also managed to get a HyperDrive belt setup to fit without rubbing the top deck. I have a Tekin 410K, Tekin receiver and Trinity Chris Doseck mod motor ready to go in, along with some matched Panasonic P-170 cells. It will be topped off with an S&K 10T A.I.R.S. body and maybe another surprise body.
Pics from fredswain before I received the kit:
And some teaser pics until I get some better shots of the roller:

That looks awesome! I'm probably pretty biased though.

Re: Raborn Invencer XT
I managed to pick up a NIP pair of matching rear Pro-Line mounted foams for this truck.
I also had two NIP A&L Roadkill bodies, so I decided to use one for this build. It took some creative trimming, but the body fits like a glove. I added an A&L Pro Stock spoiler that was designed to fit right over the Roadkill's molded spoiler. And I had an extra pair of Factory Works blue machined aluminum true-spin nuts that I used on the front axles.

Is that body still available? I want one!!!
Daryl still has them listed on his site, and I believe he started producing them again a few years ago. He should be able to help you find one.

If you need a money shot I can PM you one. Photobucket keeps taking it down... In all seriousness, looks killer!LTO_Dave wrote:I also threw in some Trinity Pushed 1700 SCRC cells for a glamour shot:
