Beau's Modern Racer Rc10 V.1 build
Re: Beau's Modern Racer Rc10 V.1 build
Rc10 with FS arms, B4 front hex axles & B4 rear hubs/cvds
With Wheels off: measure very outside of threaded axle to opposite side axle.
Front width = 250mm
Rear width = 249mm
My measurements were with a metal graduated flat ruler & a right-angle.
I do not have axles in my B4 or B5r, at the moment to post their measurements. I will when I get them reassembled.

Re: Beau's Modern Racer Rc10 V.1 build
What size big bore shocks are you using? Are they the same ones that are on a B5M? Did you do anything with different sizes shock shafts? The Buggy is looking great. I am working on a modern RC10 as well.
Re: Beau's Modern Racer Rc10 V.1 build
I am using the B5 kit shocks, no mods to the shocks. And I am using custom Front & Rear towers made by Jeff Malar.
I think Joey King is using the same towers.
Man, I really need to update this thread with the cars current parts and pics!
Thanks! The rc10 is an all time fav of mine and looks and questions from people that have never seen one is pretty good too!

I would like to see some current pictures if you have time. I am trying to build a modern racer for carpet to have fun. your build looks good.
By cutting down your chassis did you get a slammed rc10 look?
Thanks for the great post

I am using the same/similar towers. I am using B4.2 worlds big bore shocks, but they are the same as B5 as far as I know.

Did you guys use customer shock towers? I have so mamuch half donew projects. I just want to finish one to race with then try the other ones.
I trying to accomplish a rc10 with slammed look. Big bore shocks and run wide arms.
I have the truck nose plate and dynotech arm.
I have the quad arms too. At this point I want to make my build easy to find parts. Using the ce arms maybe my way to go. But the idea of a lititle longer fronthan and rear with the Fred arms way be the way to go.
I hope you can't point me in some sort of direction.

GoMachV makes the towers, I have them on almost every car I own.
