Very cool! Was that the same chassis as the "Fun Ones"? I think I have one of those chassis around here somewhere...gomachv wrote:Finally found a sealed early one! ..... Hope it's not a box of rocks! Lol

Re: So what did you get in the post today ???
I could not resist...bought another original RC10 Worlds
You saw it maybe on ebay germany
It's very nice...came with some new parts, front and rear tires are new, not glued (kit tires: 4rib and flat stubbies), cheap but nice electronics... the turnbuckles (Technacraft???) and white ball cups seem to be new too
The seller forgot to send me the original documents but they are on their way to me

I almost bought that Worlds car several times but resisted as I have a mint one already and there was no picture of the underside. How does that look like?

I've hesitated a long time but finally made him an offer and the seller accepted. I think I paid a fair price because it included some new parts, new tires on front and rear...turnbuckles and ball cups seem to be new too.Asso_man! wrote:I almost bought that Worlds car several times but resisted as I have a mint one already and there was no picture of the underside. Here's a picture of the underside. It's okay... the white areas are tape residues. It was probably a racer. Used but not abused

Post man dropped off a set of headers for my RC10 oval project today.

Don't have these yet, but pulled the trigger on them. RC10 oval project #2 or actually #3 coming soon.
These will be for a late model build.

Finally went with the impulse and pulled the trigger an Edinger.

Scratches on the bottom are better than I'd hope but the ugly job on the battery box holes is worse. Also a little bummed that the transmission is missing the spine plate and pivots...i.e. all the parts that ID it as an Edinger era trans. Actually had black idlers rattling around loose in the case.
