Nice score!Incredible_Serious wrote:Just unpacked this lot a little while ago..... two Tamiya TA02s (an Alfa 155 and a Mustang Cobra R), a Hornet chassis, and a painted but unused Tamiya Mazda MX5 / Miata. Big thanks to Rob (Bullfrog) for the postal forwarding....
TA02s will need a little work, one is 2wd, and the other has a home-made prop shaft... and there's not a bearing between them.
Hornet needs a spruce up, replacement of some broken / missing parts, and a body....
Mazda is very nice..... now to find a chassis for it!

I got my 1/10 East Coast Modified from Wind Tunnel. This is the exact same body as the Bolink Chevy Cavailer with every detail, only much better! The plastic is thicker and it doesn't have any defects like the original Bolink body has. It looks like they cleaned up the mold or they have better vacuform equipment than what Bolink used. It's also covered with a clear mask and they include the same window painting mask set as Bolink did. You can't beat it for the price. Also got my new shock springs and replacement spur gear. Once I come back from vacation I'm going to start back on my JG oval build. Can't wait!

Scored these recently too.

Got a order from shapeways. Guess I should have read the description that it was for one wheel only.

Re: So what did you get in the post today ???
I had that happen once. Years ago I ordered something online and sure enough, one showed up. Ordered a second right away.
Not really something that showed up in the mail this week, but a I have a few new items. Pics are not really needed as we all know what is what.
A builders kit of the 2012 Axial Rubicon, and a B44.3 buggy kit. I got a smokin deal on it, opened but brand new. I will never race it but cool to have. What to do with it...

Not from the post, but the chassis was a while ago...before the bright yellow powdercoat
that was done by a local friend and just got it back to me recently. Couldnt wait to bolt on some black parts.
