I recently received the DC drive components to get my Grandfather's South Bend Operational. I've upgraded to a 3/4hp Baldor DC motor and KB Variable speed Control. It's cool to see it cutting chips again after a 30 year rest....

Re: So what did you get in the post today ???
Just unpacked this lot a little while ago..... two Tamiya TA02s (an Alfa 155 and a Mustang Cobra R), a Hornet chassis, and a painted but unused Tamiya Mazda MX5 / Miata. Big thanks to Rob (Bullfrog) for the postal forwarding....

TA02s will need a little work, one is 2wd, and the other has a home-made prop shaft... and there's not a bearing between them.
Hornet needs a spruce up, replacement of some broken / missing parts, and a body....
Mazda is very nice..... now to find a chassis for it!

Nice haul today, couple litesinks and Parma ball joints. Never seen this bumper before... Interesting it's got holes for Blackfoot, RC10, and pan cars. Very diverse lol!
