Dave's RC10T Parts Project

Post by DaveM »

Hi Guys,

I got excited when looking at the RC10T's in the Truck Build of the month, they are all very good!

One particular build got me really excited and I decided I needed one just like it.

Thank you to the owner for being so understanding and allowing me to build a copy, thank you

mate!

I have placed an order to Tower Hobbies for the body shell, will take 7 - 14 days to arrive.

The new parts are RPM front and rear arms, black plastic shock caps, nose tubes, Worlds re-re

steering and the Pro-Line tires.

Thank you to RC10th for the missing shock cap, much appreciated mate!

Here are some pics,

Cheers, Dave. :)

Super clean truck Dave, looks great! Is the chassis stripped, or is that a paint?

Hi Marlon,

The chassis, nose plate and motor mount I sand blasted then lightly polished with a pot scourer.

I was trying to use all the parts that I had left over for a true runner.

Cheers, Dave. :)

I'll throw one more at you... the mix of white and black parts look great! Every time I de-ano a chassis I build it up with black parts. I may have to mix it up next time

Hi Guys,

I got my new body shell a couple of days ago. WooHoo!

I cut it out Thursday and mounted it yesterday, Friday and painted it today.

Boy am I glad it's finished! I hate painting shells!

O.k here's a couple of pics,

Cheers, Dave. :)
