I came across a New Bright VW baja bug that's like 1/6 scale for 5 bucks, I think I might use the body on my Traxxas Monster buggy.sschering wrote:I got a distraction from the not yet started GT build..
My wife asked me to fix the kids old NewBrite Hummer.. Her idea was thinking I'd replace the broken radio and dead battery.
This MGT roller should "fix" it.

This came in yesterday. won on the bay from Downey Hobbies. Needs oil in shocks. missing 2 screws in the rear, and 1 servo mount. tire are not glued. everything else feels fine on it. maybe a clean and shelf it. has a Duratrak modified motor. find out more on it at a later time. JUst need more shelves right now for shelfer/runner stoarage.

Another small lot of parts.... NIP B2/B3 aluminium screw kit, and a used Speedworks Joel "Magic" Johnson brushed motor.
Got some other parts last week, that I didn't put pictures up of....
- Bolink 8.5" Wing Kit
- A couple of 20T steel Mini pinions
- A couple of packs of GM Racing brushes
- Trinity purple alloy motor spacer (mmmmm..... purple)
- Trinity brush spring tuning kit
- Front arms to suit RC10GT or T2
- A heap of miscellaneous wheels and tyres
I thought I was supposed to be selling, not buying

somewhere around 1990-1995. it was based on the TOMY Adonus (which was also the Intruder with a few different things).flipwils11 wrote:That's really neat looking, what year is it from approximately?
its like a 60/40 split dif in it. there was a slipper option which i have in my TOMY stash. but there were 4 set up options with front or rear one way.SFC K wrote:That is neat looking. Interesting Spur gear as well. Does that have a slipper built into it?
