jkelm24's 91 Stealth
I've been working on this for the past couple months and thought I'd get some pictures posted.
The intent is to piece together something that resembles an off the shelf Stealth had AE decided to release it in 92/93...
Thanks to Jeff for giving me the lead on a few parts!

Re: jkelm24's 91 Stealth
I had to ream the front bulkhead holes in the bottom plate to get the front bulkhead to line up correctly. It didn't take much to get things where they needed to be...

Minor cutting on the bulkhead. Removed the battery box and outer wings.

Re: jkelm24's 91 Stealth
Trying to stay with an 'out of the box' look:
- Durbro 2" turnbuckles cut to length to mimic the look of the CE and Team Car turnbuckles
- Limited bulkhead cutting
- Wing tubes, instead of tower mounts
- Three piece front rims and 6805 rear rims (I don't remember actually seeing the 6805s until 93/94, just before the release of the Worlds Car, but I thought they'd fit this build)
- Black RPM rear motor guard

Re: jkelm24's 91 Stealth
Trying to decide between 6805 vs 1.9 rear wheels (mocked up with 3-piece, as I don't currently have an extra pair of one-piece rear rims). I'll be sticking with 3-piece on the front either way... at least for now.
The 6805 resembles the Worlds Car look, but the 1.9s would probably have been more likely in a 1992/93 box kit.

Re: jkelm24's 91 Stealth
Very similar to the choices I made on mine. I went worlds style 3 piece front and one piece rear...but considered tq one piece all around as well. I ditched the graphite trans brace to keep it more team car/early truck style. Same buckles. I even made a .71 front tower but never installed it. It's all up to interpretation and I think yours turned out awesome
It's time to stand up to the bully. Support the companies that support the industry, not the ones that tear it down. Say no to Traxxas

Hi jkelm24,
Very nice mate!
I like the 3 piece fronts and solid rears.
Thank you for the Dubro turnbuckle information, I have already written that down in the book.
Cheers, Dave.

Nice.
I really want to build one of these for my outdoors/summer racer, but I need to recover some funds first.
