Yeah if you are just ordering the nuts it's not a great deal but if you are ordering a whole set of screws for your truck then it's just another 40 cents on the bill.
I just ordered enough stainless 4-40 and 8-32 screws to build 2 cars for about $13 shipped.
They even have those little 2-56 1/8" screws used for the GT2 king pins at 33 cents each in black oxide.. I can't find those damn things anywhere in town.

That's the beauty of these serrated nuts - they don't wear out!Mark Westerfield wrote:Technically, locknuts are only supposed to be used 1 time.
They lock just as well after 100 uses as they did the first time!
With the factory 8-32 locknuts, eventually the rubber 'lock' wears out and they don't stay tight.

McMaster Carr zinc plated pack of 100 nuts for $3.90. I bought a pack and will update on how they are once they arrive.

Re: solution for locking 8-32 nuts
The Jconcept nuts are like chocolate to a kid. They stick so hard I actually choose not to use them. I just buy bulk of the AE nuts and replace the rears every 3 - 4 race meets. This has worked for me for a few years racing on carpet and dirt.
I was old school - when old school wasn't cool !
