Mallards are nice but if you really want speed, you should go for the wood duck!

I hope some frisky male doesn't try to violate it with that prop sticking out the back.

That RC is a male so it would need to be a gay Mallard.THEYTOOKMYTHUMB wrote:I hope some frisky male doesn't try to violate it with that prop sticking out the back.

There's a scientific article describing the gay necrophiliac tendencies of the Mallard.Coelacanth wrote:That RC is a male so it would need to be a gay Mallard.THEYTOOKMYTHUMB wrote:I hope some frisky male doesn't try to violate it with that prop sticking out the back.
(I only know that because the author is a Dutchman who got an IG Nobel or somesuch for his 'research')

Back when I was into RC boating , I would bring my son up to run the club Mallard at the local Hobby Show . If the rudder was turned hard to the right it would activate a pump that would spray the crowd .

Cool build BTW !

Does it's head turn? In that old photo it looks like it's head is looking to the right a little. It may just be the angle. We have one bad ass Goose on our lake that will chase off anything even thinking of landing there. I'd love to take this down there next summer and see what he does.
