yup serious. I was texting with him, and he posted them on facebook and they had them ready for the warehouse sale. But good chance like said before. built so when consumers gets them all issue pointed out could be fixed and car ready to go. plus most people these days unlike this forum don't have time to build, (hence why so many people here get barn finds of built never ran cars that are 20-30 years old).aeiou wrote:Oh, you guys were serious about this? I'd missed this when I first saw the description - "Expertly built in house by Team Associated’s tech staff and racers." Racers too? They must've had a build party.gomachv wrote:As mentioned abovethey are having poor Don build a bunch of em to get rid of em!

Re: #6002 - RC10 Worlds Car Kit
Good deal but if they wanted to sell more quickly, all they would have to do is have some of the famous guys and drivers autograph the boxes and chassis. You know a Kinwald, Cav, Curtis, Cliff, Howart car would get attention!

Fantastic idea... donate the proceeds above and beyond the $200 kit price to charity depending on who builds the kit.

Re: #6002 - RC10 Worlds Car Kit
So has anyone pulled the trigger on one of these pre-built rollers? I thought about it but have so many other cars I need to build first. Plus I have a NIB one that I haven't even built.

Re: #6002 - RC10 Worlds Car Kit
I bought one from Stormer Tuesday and it showed up in the mail today for $197 with shipping costs. Pretty darn quick if you ask me.
Anyway, I immediately started putting the trans together and I have the same issues as most. Cases are really tight and the trans does not spin at all. I'm going to fax all the info to AE tomorrow and see what happens for the issues I am having with the trans.
Just curious but did anyone notice that the steering rack and the front caster blocks had a green tint to them like the ball cups?

Thanks Jeff! I just sent them the Fax. Now the waiting game begins as they just shut down warehouse operations for the holidays until the 30th.gomachv wrote:Just tell them flat out you want a 6565 case and 6570 idler, they didn't reply but it arrived a couple days later
